An Activity Passport should not be something that dominates teachers’ time. It is optional.
However, most teachers would agree that the activities listed in the passport are all worthwhile.
Why not let parents take control where possible.
Point them in the direction of where they can download the passport and find out more information.

I think it would be great if parents took control of this.
Maybe a school’s role could be to advertise the initiative in a newsletter and say that they are hoping some parents might like to try it with their children. That way the school can pre-empt the idea that the school is going to run the scheme. (Obviously some schools may choose to run the scheme themselves or in collaboration with parents.)
