The new Activity Passport was only announced by Damian Hinds at the very end of December 2018. Teachers were on holiday so many did not see the announcement. The first most teachers probably heard was via Twitter. So what is the verdict so far?
New Term Begins
Many schools in the UK began the Spring Term today, and for some the Activity Passport was a talking point in staff rooms up and down the country. What are the vibes? Were your colleagues outraged or supportive of the idea? What about your Headteacher?
Will Your School Take On This New Idea?
Whether you love it our loathe it, someone will be asking your Headteacher if the Activity Passport will be something to be adopted in your school. Has your school made a decision yet? Will the Activity Passport be compulsory? Will it be optional? Will it be something for parents to take on board? Do you already have an Activity Passport by another name and will you be merging your current system to the new national roll out?
We’d love to hear what’s happening in your school.
