It’s the question that many teachers on Twitter are asking.
Is the Activity Passport for real? Or is it an elaborate hoax?
We will let you decide. Here is the DfE webpage explaining the Activity Passport.

I have seen a lot of comments on Twitter asking if this is a wind-up. There does seem to be some confusion over what is being suggested. Clearly the DfE have launched this initiative and some teachers have not realised this. Others seem to be assuming that the materials provided free on this website are compulsory, when clearly they are there for anyone who might want to use them.
So exactly what are the Twitterati claiming is a spoof?
Does anyone know?
Thanks DaveT.
We hope no-one ever suggests that this is compulsory for Primary teachers. If you are being required to adopt this in your school against your wishes, we would love to hear from you.
We would also love to hear from any parents who have taken on board this whole initiative and are managing an Activity Passport for their own child.
